Japan’s western coast is home to prized jadeite deposits, specifically in Niigata Prefecture’s Itoigawa and Omi regions, and Tottori Prefecture’s Wakasa region.

Lavender jadeite contains high levels of titanium dioxide and iron oxide, with jadeite compositions between 98% and 93%. Blue jadeite exhibits the highest titanium dioxide concentration at 0.65%, and jadeite compositions ranging from 97% to 93%.
